The MagicBoogieBox is a detachable MIDI controller especially designed to fit the needs and guitar of a new customer.The controller will be fixed to the guitar by the mean of 3 screws, in the pictures on the right it s fixed with some velcro.It features 8 back lit buttons, 4 encoders with led rings and buttons (to select over the 4 presets, thus 16 virtual encoders).

Power supply is fed through a 7 pins MIDI plug at the MIDI OUT at pins 6 and 7.I ve modified a MIDI/USB cable so that the 5 volts from the USB hub will be forwarded to those pins.In case of use with a effect rack there is the need to forward 5 volts through the MIDI cable.The EVENTIDE ECLIPSE does that thanks to a special supply forwarding port.

It features MIDI IN and MIDI Out: MIDI data is updated on the led rings and the buttons lights when it s changed on the external device or computer.The 4 encoders have a push button each to choose among 4 setups.
